## Why Roceet?

Roceet’s mission is simple: to make data transfers between devices **seamless and stress-free**.

## What to Expect

First things first: Roceet is **not** a traditional file storage platform. It stores your data temporarily—only until the set lifetime expires, your chosen download limit is reached, or you manually delete the transfer.

Roceet is a **data transfer service**. In its beta version, it will focus on link sharing for personal and team use.

In the long run, we aim to build an **enhanced, network-based AirDrop alternative** that works across platforms, with features including:

- **Cross-platform compatibility** – Works on mobile, desktop, and even command-line tools.
- **Storageless transfers** – Pay only for data transfer, not storage.
- **Internet-based transfers** – Share data over the internet, not just Bluetooth.
- **Automatic downloads** – Instantly receive shared files.
- **Device targeting** – Link and share with as many devices as needed.
- **Team sharing** – Upload files to a team bucket, allowing teammates to download whenever needed.
- **Analytics** – See who’s accessing your files and when.
